There are currently 24 full members of the Guild. We have an AGM in February or March at which our officers are elected and at which people may join the Guild.
We usually have a winter weekend trip, a few 1 day ringing outings each year, and a 1 week summer camping trip. The band has a strong social life and most ringers may be found in the Tap & Spile in Hexham after the practice on a Thursday.
If you are a ringer who has recently moved to the area or a lapsed ringer thinking of returning, you would be welcome to come to one of our Thursday practices to see if you would like to join us. Follow the Ringing Times link at the top of the page.
If you live in or near Hexham and would like to learn to ring, then get in touch with the Tower Captain, who will arrange for you to come and observe a practice or two, and discuss the level of commitment required and the practicalities of tuition.
